Stocksdale and Sekimachi are each fellows of the American Craft Council, whose work referenced and inspired the other's. Stocksdale's elegant wooden bowls sometimes served as forms for Sekimachi's translucent paper vessels. Included in this catalog are also woven boxes and accordion "books" by Sekimachi, who is known by many as the weaver's weaver."
